Role Summary

We seek a highly motivated Co-Op Student to join the Platform Pharmacology team to execute bioanalytical assays using a variety of readout technologies. The student will work closely with mentor(s) to conduct bioanalytical assays to understand disposition of our platform tested in various in vitro/in vivo models. There will also be opportunities to train cross-functionally with other scientists within the company. The successful candidate will be team-oriented, ambitious, motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in Waltham, MA without the possibility of being a remote role. This role will be for a 6 month period beginning in January 2023.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • The individual will support research plans to analyze in vitro/in vivo studies with various bioanalytical readouts including RT-PCR, ELISA, as well as LC‑MS
  • Participate in literature search to investigate new technologies, experimental design, method development for bioanalytical assays
  • Maintain accurate and clear records of experimental work
  • Work effectively with a cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Analyze data and communicate findings to team members
  • Follow general laboratory safety procedures, as related to biologically derived materials


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Working toward a B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or equivalent
  • Previous hands-on academic/industry lab experience is desired
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and possess the ability to effectively communicate ideas and document research
  • High proficiency in the use of software applications such as Excel, and PowerPoint
